1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Enhance My Photo collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use enhancemyphoto.net and its photo enhancement services, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. In this policy, “we” and “our” refer to the operator of Enhance My Photo.
Our Terms of Service govern use of the Service. Our Refund Policy explains payment refunds separately from the handling of personal information described here.
2. Information we collect
Account and security information
When you choose an enabled Google, Microsoft, or GitHub sign-in option, or link a supported provider account, we receive the account details the provider makes available to us, such as your name, email address, provider account identifier, and profile image when provided. We store the association between the provider account identifier and your website account to support future sign-ins.
We process email addresses and verification records when you verify your website email, enable password sign-in, or link or unlink a provider account. Microsoft sign-in does not require mailbox verification; if Microsoft supplies no valid email, we ask you to enter one. Linking or unlinking Google, Microsoft, or GitHub requires verification of your current website email and does not change that email. Authorized administrators may unlink provider accounts without an email code, subject to access controls and protection against removing the last usable sign-in method. We record the provider and linked account used by a session to prevent unlinking its current sign-in identity. We also store the name, username and email made available by each linked provider, along with the time those details were updated, to display your linked accounts to you and authorized administrators.
We also keep authentication, authorization, payment notification, and other security logs needed to operate and protect the Service.
Photos, tasks, and feedback
We process the photos you upload, task inputs and outputs, file metadata, task status, and history to perform enhancement, display progress, and let you download or delete results.
Fal may screen input and output images for safety. To perform this screening, temporary resized copies of those images may be created and processed. Safety screening reduces risk but cannot guarantee perfect detection; lawful content may occasionally be refused and prohibited content may not always be detected.
If you rate an enhancement result, we store the structured rating and, for a negative rating, the reason you select. This feedback is linked to the relevant task and does not create a separate copy of your photo.
Please do not upload another person's private information unless you have a lawful basis and the required permissions to do so.
Subscription, payment, and support information
We store subscription status, plan, billing period, credits, order information, and payment provider event references needed to provide paid features and reconcile payments. Creem processes checkout and payment details; we do not store complete payment-card numbers on our servers.
When you contact us, we process the contact details, order or task references, and other information you provide to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or complete payment-card information.
Usage information
The analytics services described in section 6 may receive usage events and technical information according to the site's configuration.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and secure accounts and support sign-in, email verification, and account linking;
- process photos, show task progress and history, and provide downloads and deletion;
- manage subscriptions, credits, payments, and refund requests;
- respond to support and privacy requests and review enhancement feedback;
- prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and maintain security;
- understand product usage through the analytics configuration described below; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations and handle disputes.
4. Service providers and sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers as needed for the functions described in this policy:
- Google, Microsoft, and GitHub provide third-party sign-in and supported account linking when enabled and when you choose to use them.
- Fal receives the photos and task inputs needed to run the selected enhancement model and may process input and output images, including temporary resized copies, for image safety screening.
- Cloudflare R2 stores photo objects used by the Service.
- Creem handles checkout and payment processing, including approved refunds.
- Resend may deliver service emails.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics, Plausible, OpenPanel, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity may process usage information when configured, as described in section 6.
These providers may process information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect people, property, or the Service.
5. Retention and deletion
Signed-in photo history is available for 24 hours on Free, 15 days on Starter, 30 days on Creator, and 60 days on Studio, measured from the work's creation time. Upgrades extend the deadlines of works that have not expired; downgrades and subscription cancellation do not shorten existing deadlines. Expired or deleted works are not restored by an upgrade. Guest results are available only in the current page session and are not restored after a reload or return visit.
At expiration, history is hidden from the user. The product's deletion controls also remove the work from visible history; enhancement feedback is deleted with the corresponding task. The associated original, intermediate, and result files remain in object storage until an administrator manually cleans them up. Failed cleanup can be retried, and database history records may remain after file cleanup. Failed or abandoned uploads may be cleaned up automatically. Download any results you wish to keep before deleting the work or its history retention period expires.
The photo retention periods do not apply to all account, billing, support, or security records. We retain those records for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including account operation, security, accounting, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations. Some records may therefore need to be retained after photos or tasks are deleted.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies needed for authentication and other service functions. These are separate from the analytics settings described below.
The site automatically enables the analytics services configured by our administrators, which may include Ahrefs Web Analytics, Plausible, OpenPanel, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. Administration pages do not load analytics.
OpenPanel tracks page views, outgoing link clicks, and configured page interactions. When a valid campaign source is present, the first-party utm_source cookie records campaign attribution for 30 days.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are initialized with analytics storage enabled; advertising storage and advertising personalization remain denied where applicable. The configured providers may receive usage events and technical information under their respective settings. Their current privacy notices describe their processing and international transfers.
You can manage, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect sign-in or other service functions. Browser cookie settings do not necessarily stop all analytics requests or other forms of information processing.
7. Your rights and choices
You can delete photos and task history through the controls available in the product. You can also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to exercise other privacy rights available under applicable law.
Send your request to support@enhancemyphoto.net, describing what you would like us to do and providing the account email or relevant task or order reference. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If information must be retained for security, disputes, accounting, or legal obligations, we will explain the applicable limitation when responding.
Deleting photos or requesting deletion of information is separate from canceling a subscription. To stop future renewals, use Billing Settings as described in our Terms of Service.
8. Security and international processing
We use access controls, signed service notifications, separation of third-party integrations, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Our providers may process information in countries different from where you live. Their processing remains subject to applicable requirements and the terms and privacy notices relevant to their services.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Service, providers, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised version here and update the date above. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes through the Service or another appropriate channel.
10. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal information, or wish to submit a privacy rights request, please contact us at support@enhancemyphoto.net.
