A useful photo-enhancement workflow begins before you press the processing button. Start with the best available file, tell the tool what kind of subject matters and decide how you will judge the output.
This walkthrough explains the current Enhance My Photo workspace. You will learn how to choose a scene, review the quality option and quote, select an output format and check the result before using it.

Before you upload: prepare a useful source
Use a photo you have permission to process. If possible, locate the original camera file or original image attachment instead of a screenshot of someone else's preview.
The current upload formats are JPEG, PNG and WebP. Keep the original in its own folder and make a working copy if you are also editing it elsewhere. A file extension change does not convert an unsupported format: export a real supported file first.

Step 1: choose the scene that matches the important subject
The workspace currently presents six scenes. Choose the one closest to what you need to preserve, rather than selecting a category only because it sounds more powerful.

A portrait in front of a city skyline is still a Portrait candidate if the person matters most. A close-up of a product label may be better judged by text accuracy than by the attractiveness of the background.
Scene choice helps guide the process; it does not remove the need to inspect the result.
Step 2: review Flash or Pro and your current access
Flash is positioned for efficient everyday enhancement. Pro is intended for finer textures and more detailed work. The current workspace indicates that Pro requires an eligible subscription or credit-pack balance.
Start with an option you can access and a representative image. If you decide to compare quality tiers, use the same original in each attempt so that the comparison remains meaningful.
Generative enhancement can estimate detail that the source does not clearly contain. A more elaborate result is not automatically the better choice for a face, a product or a document.

Step 3: upload your image and select an output format
Use the Upload control and select the supported local file. Check that the chosen image is the one you intended before proceeding.
The current output choices are JPG, PNG and WebP. Choose a format suited to the next application or platform.

Do not assume that changing to PNG makes an already compressed source accurate again. The format describes how the output is stored, not whether reconstructed details are true.
Step 4: check the quote, then submit
Review the displayed credit amount after you have chosen your current options. Quotes and access conditions may differ across quality tiers or workflows, so avoid relying on a number from an old screenshot.
When the image is ready and the settings are correct, use Enhance Photo. Wait for the task status to update. Processing time varies with the file, selected workflow and service load; a tutorial should not be treated as a guaranteed countdown.
If a task appears to take longer than expected, check its status before repeatedly submitting the same image. Repeated attempts can create separate tasks.
Step 5: inspect the actual result
When processing completes, use the available comparison view and examine the original and result at a similar scale. Check the composition first, then two or three important detail regions.

A simple acceptance check is:
- Identity: Does a face still look like the same person?
- Structure: Are the product outline, building geometry and animal features plausible?
- Text: Are important words, numbers and labels unchanged?
- Texture: Do skin, fabric, fur and foliage still look natural?
- Color: Are changes suitable for the scene and intended use?
The live page currently states a 16-megapixel output ceiling, with a 4×, 2× or 1× scale selected to remain within that ceiling. A larger input may therefore receive less enlargement than a smaller one. Check the actual result dimensions instead of assuming every photo becomes four times wider and taller.
Step 6: download and keep the original
Download the accepted result in your selected format. Give it a filename that distinguishes it from the source, such as “coastal-village-enhanced,” while preserving the original separately.
If you use an account, the task history is the place to check your saved tasks and available results. Download important output while it remains available under the service's current retention rules.
For sharing or printing, inspect one final copy at the destination size. If a social platform recompresses the picture, compare the uploaded version as well as your local download.
What about batch processing?
The current workspace offers a batch switch, with an access requirement for an eligible subscription or credit-pack balance. Begin with one representative file before processing many similar pictures.
A successful result on one portrait does not guarantee the same result on a whole folder of mixed subjects. Group similar inputs where the interface supports the intended workflow, review the quote and check outputs individually.
If you only need a first photo, stay with the single-image flow until you are comfortable with the results.
Common questions and simple fixes
Why will my file not upload?
Check that it is a genuine JPEG, PNG or WebP and review any size or validation message shown by the workspace. Exporting a supported version is different from merely renaming its extension.
Why can I not select Pro or batch processing?
The interface currently requires eligible paid access for those options. Review the displayed condition and pricing page, rather than assuming that every balance unlocks every feature.
Can I choose a separate sharpening or denoise slider?
The current workspace offers integrated enhancement. The tool directory lists independent tools that are still planned. This tutorial covers the existing scene, quality and format controls.
The result looks sharper but less natural. What should I do?
Return to the original and compare another available scene or quality option, if appropriate. Keep the version that preserves the subject. Repeatedly enhancing an already enhanced result can make comparison harder.
Can enhancement make unreadable text trustworthy?
No automatic enhancement can guarantee the correct reconstruction of missing characters. Compare important text with the authoritative source before relying on it.
